Manage multi-million dollar healthcare construction projects for all low voltage medicalcommunications technologies.Build and maintain multi-million dollar technology budgets years in advance of actualspending from both capital and operational perspectives.Build and maintain multi-consultant, multi-company responsibility matrix - typically 300+elements included.Manage and participate with disparate teams of designers, contractors, and schedules overthe life of the projects (typically 4+ years).Form and conduct project and work group meetings with Owner facilities to ascertainclient requirements.Blueprint/red-line technology specifics for construction phasing.Research and design technology innovations for implementation, specification, andintegration. Designs include combinations of voice, data, wireless networks, video, audio, and low-voltage control in digital and analog transmissions formats both inside and outside ofbuildings. Specific designs for healthcare include various depths of nurse call,RFID/RTLS, OR technologies and PA systems, intercom, PACS, physical and computer security,server farms, data centers, IT infrastructure, and other technology interventionsassociated with healthcare information management and utilization.Help to reduce clinical staff intervention by placing technology within processes thatmitigate human intervention, there-by saving steps and money.Worked to understand the clinical flow of hospital departments to ensure best design ofinformation technology.
