Independent Designer for over 30 years in the design and print industry. In the 80's and 90's I freelanced in most of the better design studios in Philadelphia and after a couple of 2-3 year stints on staff at small design studios, in 1996 I transitioned to working for clients outside the design industry. I have maintained decades long relationships with clients in the Hospital, Healthcare, Business and University communities, designing primarily for print projects, but also some large display, trade show and mural work. Specialties: Consultation, design, corporate identity, collateral promotions, project management, copy editing, large format graphics and printing, commercial printing, & small product photography.A graduate of Tyler School of Art, Temple U., BFA, cum laude I occasionally delve back into sculpture and have created and produced jewelry dba/Love2Bead.I was also a graduate student at Temple U. in Therapeutic Recreation and worked at Woodhaven Institute which has helped me to meet the tutoring needs of students with with special needs. I am 9 credits from my M.Ed in Art Education, taught art in the Grover Washington Jr. middle school in Philadelphia and have tutored students from 3rd grade to college sophomores in writing and study skills support in English, History and Art History.At this stage of my life I am enjoying the variety these multiple endeavors provide and am privileged to be part of a wonderful community of amateur and professional musicians who get together regularly for jams as well as cultural exchange projects. What could be better than that?
