I lead the Infrastructure Business Centre within the South West and Wales region ensuring excellent project performance, managing our growth aspiration and leading our technical teams. I have over 25 years’ experience of working in the consultancy industry and have successfully worked in a number of development sectors. I lead development and infrastructure projects across the UK creating sustainable communities and creating better places. I work with Local Authorities through the delivery of highways infrastructure project, urban realm improvement projects and Active Travel Schemes. I work for both private and public sector client and specialise in working on both sides unlocking development opportunities through innovative thinking and joining the dots between strategic planning, transport and engineering in delivering regeneration opportunities. This has involved identifying and realising the links between public sector improvement and funding with private sector opportunities and aspirations and have been supporting local authorities in visions, strategies and consultancy support. This has included supporting funding bids through LUF, FHSF and CRF. I am an experienced expert witness and have represented many developers at Public Inquiry, Local Plan Inquiries, Informal Hearings and Examination.Innovative thinking is embedded in all the work we do at Stantec: we like to think outside the box and challenge ourselves to help our clients achieve more in terms of the quantum and benefits realised by the development.
