With over 15 years of customer facing professional services industry experience, I am an accomplished technical management professional with a proven track record in the software and insurance industry. Known for creativity, dynamic leadership, and adeptness at building and unifying teams, I possess a strong management background, with recent roles in global program management for cloud updates. My future focus is on driving business development and innovation within the sector, and I am a member of the new ‘Guidewire Aspire AI’ team.In the role of Consulting Manager in Guidewire, I provide mentoring, coaching and management to a team of 15 to 20 technical consultants. This includes working with Guidewire Services Center management team to develop and grow the GSC professional services practice globally, with a focus on quality delivery as well as creating and implementing new processes and methodology as Guidewire transitions to the new Cloud Platform.I am a lead member of the Cloud Transition Practice. Roles have included global program manager for Guidewire Cloud Updates as well as cloud migration specialist for enterprise level databases. This involved creating and implementing new processes and methodology to update Guidewire’s customers applications, which are core systems of record, during the new GWCP product releases as well as migrating enterprise databases from self-managed solutions into the cloud. Working with the full customer team, from end users and developers, through to key business stakeholders and C-level executives, as well as Guidewire stakeholders, I provided a dependable contact within Guidewire to manage our customers transition through these new journeys to Guidewire Cloud.I have also worked to create and deliver specialised enablement and certification to groups of third party system integrators. This involved leveraging many years of hands-on technical specialisation in the upgrades space,to deliver practical technical workshops as well as teach best practice and methodology to SI partnersI have worked in areas such as implementation, integration and upgrading of Guidewire's core InsuranceSuite products. This involved running and participating in on-site customer facing design workshops, as well as technical architect, team lead and project management roles to see projects from inception through to go live and into production. Prior to joining Guidewire, I have technical professional services field consulting experience in banking, education, health, transport and defence in both the private and public sectors.
