Major Duties and Responsibilities• Ensuring all invoices and payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner• Ensure all payments are authorised by the appropriate personnel and payments are accurate when loaded into system• Reconciling vender invoices with creditors statements and resolving discrepancies• Validating and processing customer invoice on the daily basis• Handling staff reimbursements and petty cash management• Performing general ledger reconciliations and fund relocation with adherence to accounting practices• Preparation of customer invoices and receipting of payments• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or pries• Reconciliation of monthly credit cards• Prepare supplier reconciliations on a monthly basis or as needed to ensure completeness and integrity of payment batches• Assisting in preparation of management accounts and analysis of result• Ensure accounts are maintained as per the Collections Process• Maintain accurate records of collection activities• Assist in documenting AR procedures• Following up outstanding items with customers• Payment plan negotiation & implementation with customers to obtain the best outcome• Preparing refund documentation, when appropriate• Preparing weekly/monthly reports• Investigating and assisting in resolving any payment disputes with customers• Liaising with customers, other travel companies and internal shareholders regularly• Providing a high level of customer service• Providing assistance to other staff members within the accounts receivable team
