I would like to announce my retirement. I had a GREAT send off from the Strettons Board a better team I could not have picked for my final role. My thanks to everyone I have worked with over the years from IBM, RebusHR, Drivers Jonas, GL Hearn , Commercial Services, GEN2 and Strettons. I have had a very long and fruitful career with many great memories and successes along the way. It is now time to focus even more on my growing families, now that Val and I are proud grandparents to Dylan, our first grandson.

Some of my key contributions are: Monitored financial and risk management restructuring as well as major business redesigning, involving being project sponsor for major work streams, delivering financial benefits, and efficient utilisation of commercial service assets, including property, capital, and staff. Focused on operational improvement and financial viability through constructive challenge and active engagement with executive and management board. Mentored new finance director for major board and divisional leader to become director of commercial services, and member of the management board.

Some of key contributions are: Played leading role in due diligence and selection of Capita PLC as preferred purchaser for trade sale of GL Hearn. Mentored Financial Controller through to appointment as Finance Director on onto Board and Executive Management Committee. Headhunted for interim role to assess requirements for operational improvement for fast changing business as well as delivered recommendations to main board by addressing challenge facing business complexities. Prepared, executed, and steered operational improvement processes across business, including brand refreshing, effective time recording and invoicing implementation, VOIP telephony methodology utilisation, as well as effective leadership for trade sales to Capita. Appointed as COO in May, 2011, Main Board appointment, member of Executive Management, and Audit Committees.

Chief Operating Officer for Property Management & Consultancy Partnership, responsible for HR, Finance, IT, Admin, Finance & Operational support to Operating Divisions. Responsible for restructuring IT, HR & Administration services, instilling continuous improvement culture and delivering in excess of £1.5m of operational costs savings over 4 years. Also responsible for making Drivers Jonas a Carbon Neutral organisation, the first property consultancy to achieve this.Led on behalf of Drivers Jonas, post merger integration of Drivers Jonas and Deloitte LLP.

Managing Director, Northgate SME Division Payroll and HR Outsourcer to UK SME sector, c 17m turnover.• Devised and launched new HR offerings, including incorporation of business partner services and marketing plan to drive new revenue stream for SME division.Managing Director, Moorepay & Outsourcing Director, RebusHR 2002-2004Payroll and HR Outsourcer in UK, division responsible for c35m turnover, 600 staffFull P&L responsibility for the delivery of all outsourcing services within RebusHR. Moorepay operated as separate business addressing SME sector, responsible for sales, marketing, product development and delivery of service.• Part of management team that sold RebusHR to Northgate. Key participant in process of sale and due diligence. Signatory to management deed.

Operations Director, RebusHR 2000-2002Series of challenging roles involving troubleshooting for CEO.• Poorly performing software business unit which was not core to corporate strategy. Sold unit to private managers/investors. Devised creative solution in best interests of staff and RebusHR, with Rebus retaining 20% equity stake.• Restructured and refocused loss making business unit, to over-achieve targets within 2 years and deliver 40% gross margin.• Devised new corporate vision, strategy and communications programme for delivery across RebusHR to ensure direction understood and bought into by staff. Received satisfaction rating of 4 / 5 as well as achieving general acceptance of corporate goals.
