Ben Tobin retired as Chairman of Strettons Ltd, Chartered Surveyors on 7 November2019 but retains an active role as a consultant. He specialises in Property Receivership incorporating advice to both lenders and borrowers with experience of cases involving fraud and negligence. He has been Strettons principal auctioneer for over 30 years and advises High Net Worth individuals and their pension advisers on property investment. He is a registered valuer and a Registered Property Receiver – Insolvency Practitioners Association/RICS. Has considerable experience of advising charities on property matters and was one of only 2 chartered surveyors in the UK on the Charity Commission panel of receivers and managers. But he likes playing his saxophone better.
