Contacting specific underwriters and incumbent carriers, obtaining, analyzing and comparing quotes in order to create a customized proposal for the producer to present to the client. Assembling all necessary paperwork, including Acord Applications and various forms needed for binding (Diligent Effort, Terrorism, Supplementals, etc). Once the account has been presented to the client, it is bound with the company –either incumbent or new carrier – per the producer’s request. All necessary paperwork is sent to the carrier for processing. Once the account is bound, it moves to a status of being “closed out”, which includes billing new business accounts, sorting and filing all paperwork in order to transition the renewal or new business seamlessly to our Account Executive and Service Department.
