Working within a small group of OSS Engineers for leading managed services provider within the UK. Main tasks involved monitoring ticket queue for service faults and fixing/resolving problems on our end, if needed escalating to the correct team within the business to troubleshoot errors on their end. Due to customer requests we had to deal with platform upgrades, along with pre and post upgrade checks, whilst documenting the E2E process to be approved prior implementation by the requestor. Pro-active system and event management had to take place on a daily basis to improve the platforms supported. Role involved file system management, maintaining processes/services, data analysis and creating role profiles/application groups within our internal systems and AD/SSO. Implementation of new systems alongside the integration were done mainly as a part project deliverables and often required travel to different sites across the UK and India.
