I am a Business Coach and Professional Development Coach working with individuals and teams. I specialise with individuals who are early on in their careers, progressing into management and leadership roles but perhaps haven’t yet had the training or built a level of confidence that is required for them to thrive in a leadership position. I also work with individuals and groups to explore their opportunities to grow, nurture the habits and behaviours that they want to embody, and give them the confidence to lead with purpose and authenticity, aligned to their values and purpose.I hold personal development in very high regard, previously thriving in leadership environments where I have had the opportunity to inspire and coach teams through challenges of any size. I am keenly focussed on my own personal development, and have undertaken a Transformational Coaching course at Diploma level. My qualification in Coaching has equipped me with approaches that are grounded in person-centred Psychology, and Psychological frameworks such as Transactional Analysis and Cognitive-Behavioural Coaching.In previous employment I have undertaken senior Supply Chain, Commercial and Merchandising roles up to Exec level. My experiences include being a member of the Executive leadership team at WHSmith Travel, and a senior leader within Sainsbury's and Argos. I am known for my analytical skills, high regard for customer centricity and consistently delivering step changes in team performance, team sentiment and company P&L.I have extensive experience in multi-channel retailing, FMCG retailing, innovation, strategic development, and operational planning and execution. Some of the underlying skills acquired include management of budgets and P&L of significant sizes, driving adoption of best practice S&OP processes, and close collaboration with partnership functions in order to achieve common goals. In addition, I have had many years of experience representing and influencing at Executive level and throughout the organisation. I believe that authentic leadership is one of the key components of a great leader. To be able to demonstrate that you are one with the team that you lead, you need to demonstrate that you have similar underlying motives and emotions as they do. With this in mind, I always believe in showing up consistently, reassuringly and passionately.
