Working as a part of a collaborative team with a primary focus on test driven development to produce quality products that reliably meet customer expectations.The development language is C#, framework net461, using Microsoft MVC, StructureMap dependency injection, nHibernate ORM, and AutoMapper; also working on Angular 2, hosting on IIS and Node.The server side test framework is SpecFlow, and nUnit.Client side testing is done using the Karma test runner and Jasmine.Development is done as a 2 week agile sprint with daily stand-ups, twice weekly planning meetings, end of sprint demos, and an end of sprint retrospective. The development team works closely with the integration testing team, all planning is done as a group so everyone knows who's doing what and can ask questions when unsure of something. The team is driven by a scrum master and a product owner, we adopt an agile model that blurs the lines, resulting in more collaboration between everyone.For build and deployment we use TeamCity and OctopusDeploy, configured to build feature branches.The source repository is GIT, hosted on BitBucket, taking full advantage of pull requests to allow code review that involves developers and testers. All code is accepted by reviewers before being merged into the sprint branch. Merging from feature to sprint is done by the develper who coded the feature.The team also collaborate with other teams within Landmark, this is now a corporate agenda, a modern way of developing, with a management layer that wants to narrow the gaps between departments.
