I have experience as both a software engineer and development manager, having worked extensively at every stage of the software development lifecycle. This has included researching, designing and developing products from concept through to release. I focus on building great user experiences backed by writing clean, scalable and flexible code and have a strong belief in continuous refactoring and adhering to good design principles such as SOLID. I’m an Agile and Scrum enthusiast, and have recently started gathering certifications to solidify my scrum experience. So far I have gained the Professional Scrum Master 1 and Professional Product Owner 1 certifications from scrum.orgIn my free time I enjoy reading, currently the topics on my reading list are the history of the IT industry, space travel, and startups.
