Procurement Manager
Current• Establishing and managing valuable vendor relationships, negotiating price and terms to ensure cost effective resources and building effective supply chain partner ships.• Delivering cost savings for the company by constantly reviewing supplier costs and accessing new materials • Identifying and mitigating risks and supporting prompt resolution of issues.• Reducing inventory by an amount substantially to reduce waste and reduce costs, projecting stock levels and forecasting procurement needs based on trends observed• Administrative duties associated with procurement –purchases order generation, lead time reporting, resolution of invoice queries/discrepancies, monitoring delivery times• Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements and goods ordered• Sourcing materials for pre-press products, ensuring materials used meet the customers specification and sourcing alternative materials when required• Decision maker in purchasing pre-press, post-press, printing and finishing equipment
