General Manager – Football Operations Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs RLFCApril 2010 – December 2017Duties include:• Working closely with the Head Coach and other relevant Football staff to develop strategies to improve the operational performance of the Football team• Assisting with developing the department’s annual budget of up to $20 million, and ensuring activities are managed within budgetary parameters. • Managing and overseeing all administrative requirements relating to the Bulldogs Football Department including the six key areas of Wellbeing and Education; High Performance; Recruitment and Development; Team Operations; Medical and Rehabilitation; Junior League.• Ensure that all travel arrangements for training and competition are finalized (athletes, coaches, officials, support staff). This includes flight reservations, ground transportation, room and catering, safety and security, visa requirements, entry forms, licenses, officials’ requirements and medical support requirements. Prepare requests for travel advances where required.Achievements: • Overseeing the construction, fitout and ongoing management of the Centre of Excellence at Belmore Sports Ground• Sourced and introduced the Club’s Database Program – Smartabase• Established the Club’s Sports Science Review in 2011 which led to the major changes seen in 2012 • A change agent in the re-structuring of the Football Department, Junior League Administration and Wellbeing & Education Program• Development and restructuring of Bulldogs Football Policies• 2012 and 2014 NRL Grand Finalist, 2012 Minor Premiers NRL, NSW Cup and NYC, 2010-2016 NRL semi finalists

National Head Coach / High Performance Manager Swimming Australia LtdJan 2005 – Jan 2010Duties Included:• Develop and implement an appropriate training program, practice schedule and meet schedule for the national swim team. Ensure that all other programs and schedules are appropriate, and adhere to the Team Philosophy.• Management of High Performance Programs including; State institutes and Academies of Sport • Management and implementation of the Swimming Australia’s strategic plan• Develop and integrate long term performance analysis tools and reporting mechanisms for program evaluation and monitoring, to assist in the communication of High Performance program objectives to coaches and athletes.• Monitor and supervise the preparation of national and state, team training and competition programs.• Implementation of High Performance Culture within Swimming Australia– Repeatable, Sustainable, Success. • Lead a collaborative and aligned, high performance environment which elicits optimal input from coaches and staff across the nation to ensure sustainable success.Achievements:• Steered the Australian Swim Team to its most successful Olympic campaign in Beijing 2008, where the team won 20 medals (6 gold, 6 silvers, and 8 bronze)• Lead the most successful swimming team in Australian History at the 2005 World Aquatics Championship to 25 medals (13 gold, 8 silvers, 4 bronze)• Official Swimming Team Coach for 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games• Official Swimming Head Coach for 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games• Australian Open Water Coach of the Year 1999, 2002 and 2003• Three World Championship campaigns which included 64 medals (26 gold, 18 silvers and 20 bronze)• Teams included some of the all-time greats of Australian Swimming – Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett, Kieren Perkins, Susie O’Neil, Michael Klim, Geoff Huegil, Leisel Jones, Matt Welsh and Petria Thomas
