Managed and maintained the closing process for commercial real estate debt and equity transactions. Responsibilities included due diligence analysis, document review and closing, while ensuring compliance with loan documents and company policies and procedures. Additional duties included documenting, overseeing and updating title, survey, insurance and other third-party report scope of work requirements, and assisting other departments with underwriting, research, process documentation/requirements as needed. ▪ Reviewed and restructured closing process, including designing standard forms and procedures.▪ Developed and documented Third Party Reporting Requirements and Guidelines, including internal review worksheets and training using Powerpoint.

Responsibilities included initial underwriting, issuing quotes and subsequent applications; collection and review of due diligence items; communicating with counsel as it relates to loan terms, documentation and requirements; determining escrows and reserves, preparing final closing statement; and coordinating loan funding.▪ In addition to my assigned duties, I was responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company’s business registrations, licenses and renewals, property insurance and payroll.▪ Decreased office budget by relocating office and cutting various costs for an annual savings of $30,000+/year.

Duties also included review, processing and maintenance of CMBS and REIT transactions, and closing commercial real estate debt transactions.▪ Streamlined CMBS surveillance process by assisting in the development of a complex CMBS surveillance modeling program using excel. ▪ Researched and implemented alternate data source which linked to surveillance model, resulting in $40,000 annual decrease in surveillance budget.

Managed commercial loan closings for advisory clients by working with underwriters, outside counsel, brokers and borrowers. Responsibilities included ordering all reports, collection and review of due diligence, and facilitation of the loan closing and post-closing processes.▪ Created and documented closing process.▪ Prepared Asset Management Procedures Manual.

Responsible for collecting and verifying loan information including ordering and review of third-party reports; addressing and resolving issues critical to loan approval; preparing and administering rate locks, credit committee presentations, approvals and loan commitments; coordinating and running the funding process; and working with securitization team to answer investor questions.▪ Assisted with roll out of Securitization Platform for a local bank, including providing guidance and support with set up of their table-funding relationship with several source lenders.▪ Developed standardized set of forms and procedures for the company’s multiple source lenders.
