Adapted electrodes developed for fuel cells (Gas Diffusion Electrodes) to energy saving chemistry for chloralkali production. Extended this GDE technology to Aluminum - Air Batteries. Developed new materials for Aluminum Electrowinning technology. Explored opportunities to extend ceramic composite materials in armor, cutting tools, vacuum metallizing boats, and other applications.
