Serve as the Operations Manager at the Mitote Food Park launched during the pandemic. Oversee daily operations and facilities management for this new innovative outdoor dining food truck park with cuisines from across Mexico serving local micro brews and cocktails. Worked with Owner-Operator to secure all necessary permits and licenses to build out and successfully launch the project. Support marketing and event planning functions in sponsoring regular cultural and musical events. Also work with local nonprofit agencies to host events and mixers promoting community serving nonprofits in and around the Roseland area.

Serviced the Northern California & Sierras 23 county region for the California Dept of Public Health & RHA, Inc. in providing resources and support for vaccination efforts to county public health departments and CBOs. Provided overall regional campaign coordination by connecting counties to campaign developed information resources and media assets and driving collaboration between public and noprofit partners. Scheduled, moderated and followed up on all action items related to regional Collective Impact Table meetings. Supported mobile blitz clinics in underserved communities and any additional needs or requests from county and CBO partners. Served as the campaign point of contact for all 23 County Local Health Jurisdictions and Local CBOs.

Supported the Partnership Program for the 2020 Census that encompassed enlisting and engaging trusted voices to assist in meeting the overall goal of counting everyone in seven Nor Cal counties. Engaged community partners through events, social media and partnership meetings to increase decennial participation of those who are less likely to respond or are often missed especially in hard-to-count census tracts. Educated partners about the 2020 Census and fostered cooperation with field operations. Encouraged community partners to motivate people to self-respond. Enlisted grass roots organizations to reach out to hard to count groups and those who aren’t motivated to respond to the national campaign. Tracked area response rates while updating public and nonprofit partners.

• Implemented a new toolbox of economic development programs and services as part of the 2011 EDB Jobs Plan that supported post recession business expansion, retention and job growth efforts. • Launched a business diversity and community engagement program to target the Latino and underserved communities with business advising, workshops and access to capital resources to support business startup, expansion and job creation. • Led the program development efforts to launch the first Sonoma County Cannabis Program to support cannabis business development, community engagement, industry permitting and regulatory efforts, and public information resources. • Launched the first micro lending partnership in Sonoma County resulting in 70 micro loans totaling $2 million to local businesses to-date, raised half a million dollars from eight local lenders to develop the Sonoma County Impact Loan Fund, and was awarded $1 million in EDA Disaster Relief Funds and foundation matching funds to expand the loan fund. • Mobilized EDB fire response and recovery efforts to support the business community by coordinating with the SBA, Governor’s GoBiz & IBank Programs, County and City services, and developed the Business Recovery Guide to assist local businesses in the immediate aftermath of the fires.• Managed ten annual visitor center contracts county wide and work with Sonoma County Tourism to disburse annual TOT funds and facilitate the annual renewal of BIA levy by the Board of Supervisors in support of our county tourism efforts. • Spearheaded the #GoSoCo Shop Local Campaign post Sonoma County wildfires to provide an economic stimulus to main street retail shops that garnered state and national awards.• Planned and executed the Annual Sonoma County Restaurant Week from 2012-19 that includes 130 plus participating restaurants every year that promotes our culinary and hospitality sectors each Spring while supporting locally grown and sourced products from area farmers.

• Staffed three county redevelopment project areas including the Springs Redevelopment Project Area, the Russian River Redevelopment Project Area, and the Roseland Redevelopment Project Areas.• Launched the Sonoma County Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program providing low interest loans and design services for building improvements to revitalize commercial corridors in three county redevelopment project areas.• Led branding and marketing effort for the Russian River Redevelopment Area that resulted in a number of projects including street banners, public restroom, skatepark, plaza concerts, and storefront façade improvements. • Provided funding to Sweetwater Springs Water District to support major water system line replacements and upgrades that provide potable water and fire safety for the residents and businesses of the lower Russian River. • Served as project coordinator for the Springs Phase I Hwy 12 Road, Sidewalk and Lighting Improvement project.

• Worked extensively with local nonprofit agencies in the provision of economic development and micro-enterprise development services in San Francisco’s underserved and low-income neighborhoods. • Managed a toolbox of services including business one-on-one technical assistance services, entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise training and workshops, access to capital, façade improvement services, and California Enterprise Zone and US HUD Renewal Community tax credit incentives targeting local small businesses and low income communities in San Francisco. • Managed an annual $ 3 million portfolio of nonprofit grant contracts for economic development and micro-enterprise development services delivered through a network of Neighborhood Economic Development Organizations. • Managed San Francisco’s $10 million small business revolving loan fund program capitalized with CDBG, Section 108 and EDA funds including conducting the underwriting analysis, loan servicing and loan collections program functions.• Pioneered the use of micro finance as a tool to support entrepreneurship in underserved communities and as an alternative to traditional financing networks, resulting on average fifty small business loans per year . • Successfully launched the Bayview Business Resource Center and the Asian Pacific Islander Business Information Services (APIBis) business assistance programs that provided business technical assistance services and financing resources for the underserved African-American and Asian business communities of San Francisco. • Successfully cleared audit findings and implemented corrective actions that safeguarded federal grant funds to the City.

• Managed the agency’s economic development grant and loan incentive programs to support the State of Indiana’s business expansion, retention and recruitment efforts both in rural and urban areas statewide. • Successfully managed a Fortune 500 portfolio of companies responsible for generating a number of multi-million dollar capital investments that supported the creation and retention of thousands of jobs for the State of Indiana. • Our State team led the nation in manufacturing startups in 1991 with 1,103 new plant openings and worked on hundreds of business attraction and retention projects that supported job creation and retention statewide.• Assisted businesses in evaluating and developing customized training programs and marketed state financial assistance programs to pubic officials and private sector corporations statewide.• Served as agency’s representative on the Indiana Workforce Investment Commission, the State School-to-Work TransitionTrask Force, the State Workforce Development Rapid Response Team, and the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation Loan Committee. • Analyzed, reviewed and approved economic development grants and loan applications for financial assistance programs to support business development, retention and recruitment projects in both rural and urban areas statewide. • Developed and packaged both public and private funding sources to finance infrastructure and industrial development projects statewide. • Specialized in assisting businesses in evaluating and developing training strategies to improve business productivity and financial performance.
