United States History I (Prehistory to 1865), United States History II (1865 to Present Day)Develop and manage syllabus materials, selecting and compiling tests, assignments and/or online discussion exercises that permit measurement of performance relative to standardized learning objectives. Taught History 120, U.S. History to 1865 and History 121, U.S. History since 1865, instructing up to 40 students a class, averaging five times a week. Coordinate courseware and curriculum with academic department chair, reviewing any textbook and other courseware changes with the academic department chair and other full-time faculty teaching the course. Facilitate Class Instruction, teaching the assigned class in accordance with learning objectives and session plan outlines specified by the Metropolitan Community College. Evaluate Student Performance, administering evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables and course rubrics. All course grades will be posted on the Blackboard Grade Center. Adhere to Protocol Guidelines participating in any chat sessions as determined by the course. Respond Promptly to Grade Determination, submitting grades for any assignments, discussion board exercises, and exams and course completion. Input Final Grades into the Blackboard Grade Center participating, facilitating and coordinating end of term course reviews.
