As a Systems Analysis Team Lead, my role and responsibility was to lead the IT Systems Analysis team to bridge the gap between Technology and other banking departments. This involved assessing current processes, determine requirements and deliver solutions that are efficient and add value. The following are some brief details of this role.• Prioritization of issues and change requests according to Scrum Agile methodology. • Organizing sprints and holding scrum meetings. • Finding technical solutions to business requirements that are technically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable. • Liaising with both suppliers and business users on issues and changes requests. • Collecting and documenting business and technical requirements. • Assisting in the installation of delivered solutions and assisting the QA department during testing. • Parameterization and configuration of solutions in the Core Banking system. • Planning and organizing deployments.

As Data Operations Engineer my role was to run the production ETL, monitor it while its processing data through its stages and verify all the data flowing from source until it reaches the company's end users BI products.This included:• Maintaining pre-production and production environments of both SQL Server and Big Data environments.• Building and running SQL verifications to verify that all the data has been received from different sources, that its correct and that its flowing through all stages in the ETL.• Monitoring and maintaining other related processes such as real time processing.• Being 24/7 on call in case any issue occurs within the ETL or other related processes, to which I troubleshooted issues and provided ad hoc solutions.• Conducting detailed performance analysis of packages and procedures and liaised with DW developers on improvements required.• Liaising with other departments within the organization and provided support to any issues with regards to data availability and accuracy on data visualization products such as QlikView, SharePoint and Data cube.

• Acting as a liaison between international card issuing clients and technical teams.• Analyzing client’s detailed requirements and interpreting them as technical specifications, whilst taking into account the proprietary software platform developed by the company.• Liaising with the technical teams to ensure solutions are in line with the client’s business requirements and agreed specifications.• Doing impact analysis to ensure that the relevant standards imposed by global card schemes are implemented.• Performing gap analysis for migration of existing client’s solutions to newly developed upgrades.• Working closely with Project Managers to plan resources, timelines and communication with all project stakeholders within the entire project lifecycle.• Performing operational maintenance of test environments and testing tools for QA and UAT testing.• Carrying out QA testing and performing UATs to ensure that clients’ requirements are delivered in their entirety.• Liaising with the Delivery team to ensure the appropriate merging and timely delivery of solutions.• Creating technical user manuals for knowledge sharing and providing training when required.
