I am a Partner specialising in private clients and tax. I advise on international tax and transaction structuring, locally and internationally. I have also have advised on the successful flotation of a Gibraltar company on the London Stock Exchange. In 2002 I was a leading part of the team instructed by the Government of Gibraltar to draft a completely new tax system. After working on this over a number of years this ultimately became the new Income Tax Act 2010.Specialties: In 2004, I joined Hassans as the first member of the partnership team with a non-legal background.On joining Hassans I retrained as a lawyer and in 2007 attended the Inns of Court School of Law in London where I qualified as a Barrister. My dual qualification as a Chartered Accountant and Barrister brings an added dimension to international tax and transaction structuring, both in the local and international field.
