He received a full-tuition scholarship from the Posse Foundation to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and an Asian American Studies Certificate. He then completed his Master’s degree in Higher Educational Leadership at Northeastern Illinois University and obtained his Doctorate in Philosophy in Community Psychology from National Louis University. Currently, Dr. Chanthaboury serves as the Director of the Asian American Center at Northeastern University, where he actively engages with the Northeastern community by conducting workshops, participating on ad-hoc committees, and educating allies about the student community's needs. He is dedicated to establishing a foundation promoting community, development, and support. As an advocate for diversity, he listens attentively to students' lived experiences to understand how these experiences can be intersectional.
