I was responsible for managing, maintaining and growing a territory of customers that encompassed south east Edmonton.Responsibilities included:-Growing sales within my customer base (Last three quarters Q5 8.14% growth, Q1 16.23%growth, Q2 9.84% growth)-Relationship building with customers and contacts, including identifying key decision makers-Very fast paced days. Starting at 6 am, working until 3:30 or 4. Upwards of 25-30 customers per day. Discipline and time management were crucial.-Generating new leads/cold calling and working with our business development team to opennew accounts (contributed towards overall route growth)-Identifying equipment placement opportunities (higher cost per cup equipment as well aswater coolers and beverage solutions-Time management executed throughout the day and the week. Upwards of 30 customers perday. Very fast paced days with plenty of emails and calls in between in-person customervisitation.-Schedule management. Customers routed according to geographical efficiency, anddesignate weekly, biweekly or triweekly service levels based on their sales volume.-Collaboration with internal team, via our accounting department, warehouse staff and officestaff.-Responsible for collecting monies owing, finding key decision makers in my customers’ finance areas and working with them to collect invoice payments, as well as ensuring that we have the correct payment e-mails and solutions in place. Collaborating with our finance department.-Assessing profitability of accounts and having discussions with customers based on this.-Fielding customer phone calls, emails and texts throughout the day-Inventory management at the customer. White glove service to set maintain and executelean levels based off of their consumption trends.-Using database software to place orders, manage inventory and update recordings for ourcustomers.
