I am a technologist at heart, or more accurately, a proud propeller-head. My experience – with companies over a hundred years old or startups almost a hundred days old in the media and e-commerce industries – focuses on a common thread: problem solving when objectives are clear and when there is an abundance of ambiguity. I build and operate innovative digital products for customers, whether individuals or companies. Making an impact, however, means my work is broad and deep, from C-level presentations to internal stakeholders or an auditorium of industry peers – to working on design with software architects – to analyzing data for cost modeling and deriving insights – to reviewing organization design with human resources to empower teams and grow individuals. I have had the opportunity to build companies, teams, and products from concept to realization. Each time, it underscores the principles of establishing clear objectives and defining the key results required to enable the operationalization for scale and success.My work has encompassed product management, building and securing microservices on public cloud infrastructure, application development (web, mobile, devices), digital media (OTT, publishing), data engineering (enterprise MDM, business intelligence, recommendations), and monetization (advertising, subscription, transactional).
