• Conducting prompt, thorough and complex investigations, including interviews, assessing risk, reviewing documentation, and making recommendations/corrective actions in the context of an investigation; in partnership with L&E and HR Manager, as appropriate.• Conduct concern raiser, witness, and subject interviews and conduct investigations in LATAM and US.• Conduct investigative research: including review and analyze all reliable and relevant information (i.e. emails, data files, invoices) including performing forensic analysis and reviewing Corporate and business-specific policies & procedures• Prepare high quality written reports of the investigation which provide a clear and logical account of the allegations, investigative work performed, key findings and conclusions.• Maintain client relationships in the face of conflicting demands or directions and provide evidence based conclusion and recommendation on sound diagnosis and information.• Provide briefings to senior leaders on investigative matters and prepare reports on findings.• Partner with Legal and the HR community to understand trends or changing legal requirements.• Monitor all open activities in assigned business/region to ensure timeline and compliant closure, using established guidelines.• Partner with Corporate on GE-wide compliance changes or roll-outs, including communications.• In partnership with L&E, know and understand all applicable legal and policy requirements pertaining to the conduct of investigations including in areas involving employee interviews, labor and employment requirements, and more; monitor changes in such laws and policies and provide guidance to colleagues with respect to such changes.
