Since 1973, I've practiced exclusively in the areas of Labor and Employment Law and Labor and Employment Law Litigation. I've represented all sizes and forms of employers from small "Mom and Pop" businesses to public sector employers to Fortune 500 Corporations in matters arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, Section 1981,Section 1983, the FLSA, ERISA, the NLRA, the Railway Labor Act and numerous other federal and state labor and employment laws. I've had significant experience in both jury and non-jury trials in federal and state court in both individual and class actions, appeals in federal cases before the Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and representation of clients in contested hearings, investigations and other matters before many federal and state agencies including the defense of a nation-wide Commissioner's Charge before the EEOC. I've represented clients both locally and on a nation-wide basis. And I have represented numerous U.S. operations of multi-national businesses from around the world. I've represented clients in contract compliance proceedings before the OFCCP including the first debarment proceeding under E.O. 11246.For 34 years, I practiced with a large international firm working with and learning from some of the finest attorneys in the country. Since 2008, I have practiced as a solo practitioner plying the skills and knowledge I gained at my prior firm, but now representing not only businesses, but also individual executives and other individuals who I believe can benefit from my services and expertice. I have and continue to review, write, and litigate employment agreements, noncompetition and confidentiality and trade secret agreements. I recently tried and won before a jury and subsequently won before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals my first Plaintiff's Title VII suit.
