Whether I am providing the best insurance options to my customers or serving the residents of the City of Somerville as a member of the Board of Aldermen, keeping the needs of others as a top priority has been a standard that I live by. With over 20 years experience in both capacities, I pride myself on being a source of support and service for all who need me. Making my home and owning my business in the City of Somerville gives me the opportunity to make a difference in my community while being fully engaged in what is happening city-wide. I am a frequent participant in area road races and am a passionate sponsor of the annual Irish Film Festival. After participating in the SomerVision creation process, I am thrilled to see this plan being executed, resulting in a better Somerville with an eye on the future. The center of this plan is the extension of the Green Line through Somerville. This exciting inclusion into our community may be new for some residents, but deja vu for me. While serving as the Alderman for Ward 6, I participated in the process to bring the Red Line to Davis Square. Similar to our current administration, the Mayor at the time, Gene Brune, saw the economic impact that transit could offer Somerville and we have been reaping the benefits of that good decision ever since.
