I am an experienced, reliable and commercially minded individual with over 15 years experience. I have worked with advertising, marketing and creative agencies along with clients directly on a wide variety of challenging and diverse projects. I have been involved with projects for companies like BT, Dulux, Travelex, Network Rail, Motorola, Nissan and National Express.I have experience building complex custom applications, using PHP and MySQL, including MVC frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgnitor. I build websites using CMS systems including Craft, Wordpress, Silverstripe, Drupal and eZPublish. I pride myself on producing quality code, often within tight timescales, which meet and often exceed requirements.I code amazing front end experiences, utlising modern frameworks including VueJS and Angular alongside jQuery and vanilla JavaScript. I am able to bring complex designs to life, ensuring accessibility and cross browser compatibility. Drawing on this experience has allowed me to develop HTML5 based mobile apps using Cordova (Phonegap) for both iOS and Android devices.I am familiar with a wide variety of software. I use Mac OSX based devices for my day to day work, but am comfortable with both Windows and Linux. Using SSH and the command line is something I am very confident with, including configuring and setting up LAMP stacks. I make extensive use of Git to manage my code and have used both SVN and CVS in the past.During my professional career I have worked as part of large development teams, cofounded and subsequently sold a share of a technology agency, been contracted by agencies and worked freelance. I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2004 with First Class Honours.
