Having been in a laboratory setting for a little over a year, I have been exposed to various processes and tools that I have been told are commonly used in the industry. Such processes include preparing suspensions and stock solution, milling the suspension, using laser diffraction to measure particle size, and using a rheometer to measure. The lab experience alone introduced me to various measurement techniques as well as sanitation and safety precautions. I concluded my term satisfied in my knowledge gained and overall fulfilling experience.
