Having been promoted from my position within the company from Animal Caretaker to Facilities Manager of the Bethlehem location, I oversaw a team of Caretakers, providing safe and structured enrichment, grooming, and training for clients. As manager, I worked to increase sales at the storefront by expanding the offered stock, and successfully increased scheduled grooming appointments, and rebuilding the work-team through a hiring campaign. I drastically reduced injuries to both animals and employees through increased training programs, which had previously been limited.

As a member of the metadata team at Backstage, I cataloged non-English books using RDA, AACR2, and LoC standards for clients including Emerald Group Publishing, Bringham Young University, and Yale University libraries.

As an MHT in one of KidsPeace's many residential programs, I worked daily with our population of aged 9-14 males with a history of sexual issues or sexual misconduct. While this is the main area of concern for these clients, many also have extensive histories of other mental health issues or other neurodivergence including autism, developmental delays and learning disabilities, sever depression, anxiety, oppositional-defiant disorder, conduct disorder, ADHD, and histories of being victims of sexual misconduct themselves. Through intensive programs at the house, we aimed to address these issues and the clients' past histories in order to make positive changes in dealing with daily stressors, group and personal interactions, and coming to terms with their history of abuse/abusiveness.

Greater Boston Area

Sorted and classified animal skeletal remains and artifact finds from archaeological digs on Chirikof Island, Alaska, to be used in assessments of ancient native local life histories. This required learning an extensive knowledge of the anatomy of local fauna, and digital cataloging techniques.

Assessed and identified feeding buzzes of bat audio data taken on site. Identified insect specimens taken from the research site to be used in COI gene sequencing and cataloging, in order to assess the effect of mouse-eared bats on insect pest populations on farming.
