As a highly motivated software engineer on the Cloud and DevOps team at Insight, I am passionate about delivering quality solutions while continually learning and growing in my role. My current position has grown my skills and allows me to excel at Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically using Terraform and GitHub Actions, as well as Azure DevOps, Bicep/ARM, and scripting in PowerShell and Bash.My background in object-oriented software development and cybersecurity has equipped me with critical thinking skills and the ability to break down complex problems into their individual components. This enables me to address each component to arrive at an optimal solution for my clients. I enjoy tackling challenging projects and appreciate the opportunity to consistently expand my knowledge and expertise in the field.I take great pride in my ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team environment while approaching complex projects with an open mind and willingness to learn. Beyond my degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity, I have earned the following industry certifications: GitHub Actions, GitHub Foundations, AZ-900, Terraform Associate, RedHat Delivery Specialist – Automation I & II.Recent highlights of my experience at Insight include developing pipelines in GitHub Actions and integrating them into Terraform Cloud, creating reusable Terraform modules in GitHub centering around Azure networking and storage resources, and delivering training sessions on the use of those modules, how they are hosted on Terraform Cloud Private Registry, and how they can be applied across multiple business units.I am excited to continue building on my experience and contributions as an Engineer at Insight.
