Michael Tristram Design work with global brands like Caterpillar and Merck Serono; helping them achieve their communication objectives. Whilst working here I have been responsible for the co-ordination, design and art direction of many successful sales campaigns which have been used across brochure, advertising, direct mails, exhibition displays and online campaigns. This has involved the creation and development of many national brands identities, from the formation of logos and stationary to brand guidelines to creating innovative and engaging designs which push clients’ brands forward whilst staying true to their brands core beliefs. I have also had the opportunity to work closely on the development of training and launch material for award winning medical devices, to allow patients to use the new devices safely and with confidence.

S-cool specialises in the design and build of online resources for the UK education sector. Whilst there I worked in a number of development teams as a UI Designer, producing a suite of web applications. I was responsible for overseeing the whole development process from wireframing, prototyping design and front end development, to user testing and support documentation.

Bright Light is a B2B agency serving some of the largest companies in Central and Southern England. I was employed by Bright Light to set up and develop the design side of the business. I was responsible for all design projects from corporate literature and brochures, direct mail, creating and developing brand identity, to online marketing campaigns. Some of the clients I have worked on include Allianz Cornhill Commercial, NIG, Borland, Exel Logistics, Reuters and Xchanging, as well as educational charities such as the National Strategies and the National Literacy Trust. I was also involved in the development of the design studio and enjoyed training and mentoring junior staff. I also created work processes and advised on suitable systems and technology to enable the company to grow and fulfill its strategic aims.
