My journey has been defined by exploration, discovery, and innovation. At Indiana University, I discovered my passion for informatics, focusing on making data accessible and actionable for everyone in a business unit. I wanted to empower people, regardless of their technical background, to leverage data effectively.After graduating, I initially worked in a different field for three and a half years. Feeling unfulfilled, I considered an MBA but chose entrepreneurship instead. Combining my love for specialty coffee and a desire to learn how to start a business, I launched Lost and Found Coffee, Indianapolis's first specialty coffee catering cart, in the spring of 2018.Starting Lost and Found Coffee was a bootstrapped project fueled by passion and curiosity. After nearly two years, I accepted an acquisition offer from a local coffee roaster and became Director of Catering for Tinker Gemini. Over the next five years, I refined my entrepreneurial and management skills.Despite my success in the coffee industry, my interest in informatics never waned. I self-taught SQL and delved into prompt engineering and automation, mastering techniques for marketing, CRM, and business processes. My goal was to help others achieve a better work-life balance through efficient automation.Today, as the Director of Business Solutions at Metolius Golf, I specialize in workflow mapping, automations, and data visualizations that drive informed decision-making. I leverage a variety of tools and technologies to optimize data processes and deliver actionable insights.I also volunteer with the Nicaragua Resource Network, connecting Nicaraguan college students with US-based scholarship sponsors. This role allows me to blend my skills in data organization and process optimization with my passion for helping others.Whether through automating business processes, developing data-driven strategies, or mentoring others, my mission is to find more efficient ways to work and live. I thrive on dissecting processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions that enhance data security, reliability, and overall efficiency.
