I have received comprehensive education in pediatric therapy, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of social communication deficits and disorders, but above all else my ability to connect to and empathize with my clients and their families is one of the most valuable assets that I possess. I am primarily motivated not by a desire for professional accolades but by a desire to improve the quality of my patients' lives to the full extent of my abilities. My base of knowledge and internal motivation have led me to continually develop my skillset through first-hand treatment experience, continuing education coursework, supervision of graduate student clinicians and clinical fellows, and examination of current research literature spanning multiple facets of the complex and ever-changing field of speech-language pathology. Additionally my supervisory experience has allowed me to expand my knowledge base on an ongoing basis while also developing my interpersonal communication and collaboration with professionals from a variety of cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.
