CurrentThe Energy Technologies Area (ETA) of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) serves as a global innovation hub for science, technology, and policy solutions to the world’s most critical energy and environment challenges. As Leader of Program and Business Development Alecia is responsible for supporting researchers in growth and development of ETA's nearly $160M research portfolio funding. ETA’s work focuses on analysis, research, and development leading to better energy technologies and reduction of adverse energy-related environmental impacts across buildings and urban systems; energy storage and sustainable transportation; interoperability, grid modernization, B2G, V2G, reliability, resilience and demand response and the corresponding workforce and equity issues that are a critical part of a just energy transition.
