Because teaching is one of my greatest passions and talents, I have been working as a freelance private teacher since high school. However, after earning my degrees, I wanted to formalize this by returning to my alma mater, the University Rovira i Virgili (URV), this time as a teacher instead of a student.For many years, I pursued a teaching position at URV in computer-related or programming-related subjects, but I was unable to achieve it. I continued working as a freelance teacher, especially focusing on students who needed help in the same subjects I ultimately wanted to teach.A few months ago, URV finally contacted me to ask if I could take on teaching some of the laboratories (practical classes) in the Computers subject.In this role, I aim to improve my teaching skills by automating and systematizing my teaching materials, enhancing my speaking skills to become a better communicator, and developing my ability to teach large groups of people, which contrasts with the one-on-one format of my private classes.I also see this job as an opportunity to give back to the new students of my alma mater the same skills, talent, dedication, and attention that I received from my own teachers when I was a student. Additionally, I believe that my experience as both a teacher and a recent student gives me unique insights that other teachers, who have not been students of their own subjects, may lack.At the time of writing, I have already taught some classes and find the experience just as fulfilling as I had imagined.

- Design, develop and maintain solutions for the digitalization needs of researchers at ICIQ. - Development of a digitalization platform that allows experimental chemists to extract their research datasets from Perkin-Elmer Signals Notebook to digitalize their research exporting them to an official research repository (https://echempad.iciq.cat). Using Java + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL in the backend and ZK in the front-end. Official repository: https://github.com/AleixMT/eChempad- Meetings with research leaders and research coordinators to understand their digitalization needs and make changes to the application consequently. - Managing my own hardware infrastructure and maintaining the different digitalization services at ICIQ.- Developing and maintaining a CD/CI pipeline that builds a docker image with the code of our application and deploys the image to our server.- Document the different workflows available related with digitalization, both for researchers and future data stewards.- Assist to conferences, seminars and courses related with data science.- Presenting the work done in events, such as the ICIQ open data day.

I teach high-school students, university students and adults different subjects at different levels. I am able to teach the subjects of Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algorithms, Programming, Philosophy and personal IT management at different levels.

In this internship in the Smart Health research group from the URV, I performed an exhaustive analysis of the different technics for Human Activity Recognition (HAR). I also explored the feasibility of the implementation of different machine learning algorithms to perform HAR. I had to exhaustively review more than two hundred of scientific papers related with this subject. Finally, I generated a document to sum up all my review that was delivered as my final degree project. This document was intended to be used as the theoretical starting point for a e-health platform to support early mobilisation in Intensive care units.

Project grant to start my final degree project of Bioinformatics in SEES:lab research group.The project consists of an algorithm that implements Mixed-Membership Stochastic Block Model (MMSBM) to predict possible interaction between triplets of genes.
