•Conduct 1:1 advising appointments with undergraduate and graduate College of Engineering students on topics such as resume critiques, cover letters and interview preparation coaching•Develop and deliver workshops and presentations on various career-related topics, including resume writing, interviewing skills, job search strategies, and professional networking to Engineering student organizations such as @SHPE•Serve as a liaison between UIC Engineering student organizations and employers, fostering partnerships to enhance internship and job placement opportunities•Collaborate with faculty, staff, and employers to organize career events such as job fairs, employer panels, and information sessions, facilitating meaningful connections between students and employers•Research and stay updated on industry trends, labor market information, and emerging career opportunities to provide up-to-date and relevant advice to students•Manage and oversee the center's social media accounts (Instagram & Tik Tok) to curate engaging content to boost student engagement•Facilitate training and career development skills to ECC student Peer Mentors on topics such as resume preparation, job search strategies and interview skills
