I'm currently a first-year at UVA and looking for any part-time jobs especially if they relate to chemistry and the life sciences. Before college, I achieved my IB diploma at Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Lima, Peru, where I participated in various academic organizations including the National English Honor Society and National Science Honor Society. Additionally, I was awarded the chemistry and English literature awards in my junior year and the biology award at my senior year graduation. I have also attended various summer programs both in the sciences and literature: including the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) at Berkeley California, and Putney Student Travel at Castleton University in Vermont and Trinity College Dublin. I am very passionate about my interests in biochemistry and cell biology, making me particularly drawn to jobs in medical research, laboratory assistance, or any occupation dealing with living systems and genetics. Although I do not have much work experience, I am very eager to contribute with enthusiastic learning and my collaborative and organizational skills.
