A member of the digital delivery section, I am part of the team that is leading a pilot project. Our aim is to submit a 3D model that has been signed off for construction.

•Support District and Project Managers in evaluating and making recommendations for developing and updating project plans and schedules so that projects may be executed in the most efficient and effective manner possible during District DDR and APR reviews.•Plan, coordinate and handle multiple projects within area of responsibility by assigning, directing, coordinating, and reviewing the work of professional and technical employees.•Monitor Status of Projects to stay within schedule, scope, and budget using Primavera P6 Scheduling software and guiding groups in defining objectives, staying on task, soliciting participation, challenging ideas, and summarizing accomplishments and planned actions.•Project plan, develop, and manage methodologies during PS&E and Schematic Design by communicating ideas in a clear, concise, organized manner. •Be the TxDOT Representative as RPIC for Local Government to review Local Government’s Consultant invoices and deliverables such as schematic and PS&E plans to stay within schedule, scope, and budget.•Coordinating with ATP and Local Government by checking state and federal agreements have been executed.•Coordinating with PMO and Local Government on the Project Schedule and give recommendations as well as identify risk on when to expect during APR, DCC and DDR and reviewing using Bluebeam.•Prepare WA/SWA and coordinate with PEPS and Consultant on budgeting, risk analysis, identifying the contract need, and level of effort needed.•Update, review, monitor, and review requests for changes to plans and literature and technical data.•Provided a cost analysis to inform on any recommendations to lower project cost.•Analyze project hydrology to inform on potential impacts and advice on any hydraulic mitigations.•Field inspect project location to make on-site engineering decisions. •Initiate, plan, prepare and develop PS&E packet while guiding, assigning, reviewing, and monitoring the work of a team of three.

•Field inspect construction using TxDOT’s Construction Standards and Specifications gathering samples and following plans. •Checking plan and field quantities by measuring or identifying making field decisions that will affect quantities. Communicating with Assistant Area Engineer on decisions made in field.•Review shop drawings, plans, specifications, estimates, and change order requests from contractor for approval.•Oversee construction project traffic control plans periodically and identify any discrepancies in plan set and when driving project.

Assist with PS&E preparation by updating red lines using micro station as well as determining drainage using cross sections, profile evaluation with high and low points, and layout map.

Assist with engineering inspection following TxDOT's Standard Specficatinos in Construction & Maintenance of Highway, Streets, and Bridges. In charge of payments/inspection/and inputting DWR's into database for two projects that involved delineating traffic, setting up barricades, and following other standards such as ADA. Assist with plan review with cross sections to identify possible type of ponding areas. Reading plans, and making field decisions based on drainage or site implementations as well as contacting Engineer with possible solutions while following directions. Use of corridor modeling.

Give daily reports on inspection as well as results from tests performed such as pull-out test on anchor bolts and resistivity tests. Perform engineering-related tests such as percolation test, proctor test, sieve wash, sieve analysis, Atterberg limit tests and flexural strength using ASTM Standards and design specifications. Using visual classification to identify soil properties when drilling based on sample collection for engineering design. Communicate with P.E. when drilling and site visiting of any possible setbacks they might be. Creating tickets for utility location.

Working under DM Dickason for LOI Engineers my responsibility is to assist in the geotechnical lab to perform and acquire data for the usage of construction inspection by sample collection and material testing. I am to perform engineering-related tests such as proctor test, sieve wash, sieve analysis, and both plastic and liquid limit tests using ASTM Standards by rationalizing using logic, reasoning, and observation while materials testing from soils used for foundations and base course, amount of cement needed for soil stabilization, to bulk and Marshall Density achieved in HMA testing.

My major job responsibility while working at Kinder Morgan was to material test corrosion coupons using a lab procedure for the usage of pipeline inspection within a time frame. This helped insure the pipeline against any time of failure that may arise from inside corrosion. While working, my job responsibility increased and I had the responsibility to place NORM’s in a Geiger Meter to entail the amount of radiation that a pipeline sample had and communicated high results to the environmental branch. As lab assistant, my other responsibilities included changing air cylinders, file paper work, and troubleshoot instruments.

My primary responsibility as an Undergraduate Research Assistant was data entry and analysis. I had the job to receive all the data that was collected from our air instruments and place them into Excel as well as create graphs to analyze the current air pollution that was collected through the days. I had to interpret what might have been the cause for high levels of pollution during set hour and communicate results.I also had the responsibility to conduct literature searches, primarily of air quality literature, collect information from publicly available sources, and analyze information.
