o Provided support to the Housings Engineering Team in the evaluation of non-conforming parts (mainly dimensional aspects) for the GE90 and GEnX programs, in order to reduce the number of scrapped parts and to dispose the serviceable parts to the assembly line; with the objective of meeting production demand and to avoid delays in delivery. 60% reduction of backlog of non-conforming parts. o Led the redesign of one of the most critical parts in order to reduce the number of defects per unit and decrease the rate of non-conforming parts. This was achieved working with the Manufacturing and Engineering departments to open tolerances based on analyses and process capabilities. 35% reduction of non-conforming parts.

o Retrofitting of sealing system for centrifugal compressors (from wet to dry seals); maintenance and installation of dry gas seals and lubrication systems for dry gas sealing systems.o Responsible for ensuring compliance with the planned activities to meet daily schedules and finish installations on time and within the allocated budget.

o Responsible for the design of all types of mechanical seals for different rotary machines based on specific dimension, material and application requirements.o Responsible for the selection of the appropriate lubrication system for the mechanical seal in accordance with the application and requirements.o Creation of general assembly drawings for mechanical seals and lubrication systems as well as fabrication drawings of each single part of the assembly.
