Also scaled the backend services to handle high volume active users along with scaling the data collection for key system metrics.

QLabs was an internal incubator to bring ideas to fruition within Qualcomm. Here I joined Fyx which was one of the first BLE beacons used to enable proximity context based applications. We then combined with another QLabs project, Gimbal, to create a complete Geofence and BLE beacon platform to provide macro and micro proximity context.Helped build the Android SDK, Ruby on Rails and Java servers.

Worked on QChat, an Enterprise Push-to-Talk VoIP Cellular Network that offered guaranteed call setup in under 1 second. Responsibilities included implementing and designing reliable transport protocols enhanced for cellular networks along with various call setup and lawful intercept C++ servers. This was a highly scalable and offered five 9s of reliability.
