The temporary head of a diplomatic mission. Representing and promoting Serbia's interest in Zambia.

Role: Diplomat (DHM) at Serbia's Embassy in Pretoria covering political issues in the SADC region.Duties included:- Political (and economic) analysis and synthesis.- Identifying local and regional key trends, policies, and strategies.- Providing Serbia's leadership with reports for formulation and implementation of its foreign policy towards Southern Africa region (In-country research).- Managing events that involved sensitivity and/or classified information.- Developing external contacts with representatives from political life, international organizations, think tanks, academics, civil society and the media.- If needed, aiding Serbia's companies do business in South Africa/across region and vice versa.

Managed political, military and economic policy issues affecting bilateral relations with South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mauritius, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi and São Tomé and Príncipe including SADC, SACU and COMESA cooperation. Advised senior principals and coordinated policy inter-agency to advance Serbia bilateral agenda in sub-Saharan Africa. Duties included:- Production of information (developed into a useful International affairs reports).- Writing foreign policy memos, in-depth analysis, country & topical assessments. - Drafting high-ranking Ministry and Government officials talking points.- Preparing briefings, analysis, background notes for senior Government officials on African issues.- Minute writing for high level meetings that involve sensitivity and/or classified information. - Coordinating the exchange of information between relevant Government agencies.- Assisting various Departments and the private sector to pursue Serbia's interest abroad.- Conducting meetings with high-ranking domestic and foreign officials/diplomats.- Writing messages of congratulation, letters of sympathy/condolence, invitation letters and (in special occasions various) speeches for high-ranking Government officials.

Public diplomacy. Media analysis. Events management. Increased profile of Serbia's scholarship program "World in Serbia" for students from Southern Africa region through coordination of various diplomacy activities. Oversight the Embassy digital activities. Nelson Mandela's memorial service liaison officer responsible for protocol and logistics for the Serbian delegation (President & MFA).

Media monitoring and research. Produced morning press summary, media reactions and daily media briefs. Performed and overseen the public diplomacy outreach efforts of the Ministry. Managed and developed digital strategy and coordinated its communication within the Ministry to strengthen its online profile. Event logistics. Designed, collected and implemented the Portrait Gallery of past Foreign Minister (1811-2007).

Journalist-Consultant for several Media outlets like "Business and Finance", Serbia's most influential monthly magazine for the business community (top and middle management); "B92 Tehnopolis", Serbia's most popular online tech magazine; "VIVA Magazine", Serbia's first lifestyle magazine dedicated to health and well-being; etc.

Supervisor of the Federal Government IT Department. Media Researcher and Editor of e-Bulletin of Serbia and Montenegro's EU negotiation process. Evaluated the effectiveness of the public affairs program and made changes as necessary to maintain or enhance the public image of the Council of Ministries activities. Strengthen online presence for the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.

As consultant, developed and implemented Federal Government internet communications strategy. Provided technical information, notices and periodical reports. Responsible for coordination of Council of Ministers communications technology policy with other Government bodies.

Managed public relations. Prepared media advisories about the Federal Government, its programs, services and accomplishments. Planned and coordinated media events, communicated with media and responded to public inquiries regarding Federal Government operations and projects.

Crisis communication, event management, handled day-to-day media relations, wrote press releases, organized information sessions for journalists, responded to requests for information and coordinated the communication between various government entities. Managed and led a team of communications volunteer & Spokesperson at times.
