Integrating neuroscience, happiness studies and future studies into education policies and plans to ensure systemic changes towards teaching and learning. With a background in Education (UK QTS in Modern Foreign Languages), I have worked in Europe, in the UK and most of all in the Middle East and Asia Minor, which made me not only a professional teacher but also an intercultural advisor and orientalist. Polymathy brought a unique perspective into my professional life, and I've started looking at apparently contradictory ideas, complex systems and knowledge in a novel and useful way. I consider polymathy to be the main source of any individual's creative potential. So, I can tell you today: "In the world of jacks-of-all-trades —master-of-none, be a polymath!"I continued my lifelong learning and got Cambridge accredited as a teacher trainer, and since then I have been helping educators polish their skills and flourish. My extensive search for the new ways of teaching resulted in a degree in Neuroscience. I had the first kairos in my career when I came up with a new concept in teacher training—the nourishment of controlled environments through the application of Bonsai Philosophy. I was honoured to be able to present the outcomes of this research on the stage of Oxford University.Neuroscience, Happiness Studies and Future Studies are very much my perspective on Education Futures! As a cognitive neuroscientist, an HSA certified happiness trainer and a professional futurist I help education systems, educational institutions and learning organisation achieve high levels of wellbeing and performance through Happiness Studies, Future Studies and Educational Neuroscience. As a chief educational neuroscientist in Neurocomb25®, I am fortunate to consult the stakeholders on preparing for the future of education and learning in a new era. Since we are in need of new systems and approaches to reform education for the new era, I design and organise Edu Neuroscience/Futures/Happiness training courses, workshops, presentations, summits, conferences and retreats. I support ministries, schools, universities, learning organisations and private individuals improving their education, predicting Education Futures, and bringing in Neuroscience, Happiness Studies and Future Studies in a 3D Format ™.Languages:

Book AuthorBonsai Philosophy. Systems Thinking. A Workbook On Learning How To Learn. May 2024 - PresentThe application of Systems Thinking to learning: why Bonsai Philosophy?Systems Thinking is a powerful tool to communicate and investigate complex issues. Learninghow to learn effectively and with pleasure is one of the mysteries that everyone is trying tosolve. If we consider the process of learning a system, which is a perceived whole, and ismade up of vital parts, such as healthy habits, learning something quite different to what weare passionate about, or going unplugged for creativity; we realize that all these parts interacttoward a common purpose. And this interaction is what causes a system to stand together andimprove the quality of learning.Bonsai Philosophy is based on 5 main principles of cultivating a real tree in a confined space.Learners resemble bonsai trees that are also placed in their own contexts. The context iseverything for the social science of teaching and cognitive science of learning. Pruning, wiring, watering, fertilizing, and positioning are Bonsai Philosophy concepts that systematize theprocess of learning. Each of these principles helps to establish context-based learning thatimproves the acquisition and processing of knowledge. This unique workbook is built on the principles of neuroscience, happiness studies and fu-ture studies to help you elevate your learning in a 3D Format™: through science, wellbeing, and purpose.
