As an Embedded Software Developer at Fortinet, I work on developing and enhancing FortiOS, the operating system that powers Fortinet's network security products FortiGate. I use my skills in Linux and C to implement scalable and reliable services in both user space and kernel space that support the core functionality and performance of FortiGate. I have a strong academic background in computer science, with a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. During my studies, I gained experience in various programming languages, frameworks, libraries, and technologies, such as C/C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Spring Boot, AWS, Express, Kafka, Docker, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Numpy.I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems. I am motivated by the challenge and the impact of working in the cyber-security industry, where I can contribute to protecting the digital assets and networks of millions of users and organizations. I am also eager to collaborate with and learn from my colleagues and peers, who are experts in their fields and share my vision and values.
