About Alessandro Ribeiro

I have been developing software using Java Technology since 1996 and have been a full time developer for this techonology since 2000. I have worked on many projects using J2EE and J2SE (Swing) platforms, as developer, designer and software architect. I also have trained more than 200 people in Brazil, for Sun Microsystems, in the use of Java technologies.I have also worked on a lot of Flex (>4yrs) and Ruby/Rails projects (>4yrs).My focus now is leading teams and architecting systems that work with Java, Ruby and Flex technologies.Specialties: Software DevelopmentMain Expertise in Java Techonology (J2SE and J2EE) and Object-Oriented Software Engineering.Holds certifications on Java techonologies from Sun and IBM. Also holds other certifications from IBM (OO/UML, XML) and from Microsoft (Windows 2000, SQL Server and C#/.Net).
