-To define annual, monthly, weekly and daily planning of the generation plants, as well as define the related plants stops for maintenance, liaising with the relevant O&M units, and to guarantee the preparation of the first margin budget, in accordance with all relevant units, as well as the technical-financial results estimation;- to define the offer strategies liaising with the relevant units of Energy Management Italy within Global Trading and Upstream Gas, to prepare and make available for the generation plants the programs of energy production and to monitor its real-time implementation and mismatches by analysing the deviations and identifying, liaising with O&M units, the improving actions to be implemented, also for SPV or in case of services to external IPP1 (liaising with Front Office Italy for the preparation of the offers to be submitted to each prospect IPP) and for batteries, in this last case participating to the definition of requirements of the Energy Management System liaising with Technological Services and Business Intelligence unit;- to support and monitor the preparation and submission of offers to the energy market for the generation plants of the perimeter managed; to work on daily and weekly forecasts, minimizing the imbalances, also in case of Energy Management agreements with external counterparties.

- To ensure in the medium term the optimization of the generation portfolio and of the production of the generation fleet through the definition of the yearly and monthly scheduling of each power plant, fuel consumptions and related costs and utilization of hydro reservoirs and power plants;- to define the plan of overhauls of plants in coordination with Thermal Generation and Large Hydrounits, managing the related communications towards the Transmission System Operator;- to provide, in the medium term and in the budget process with reference to years n and n+1, forecasts of market competitive dynamics, expected level of prices in the energy and ancillary services market and energy margin rolling forecast.
