High frequency experimental mount characterization for automotive applications

Through this experience, I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of mechanical components.The value of this experience lies in understanding the main issues that can lead to the failure or damage of these components. Talking with clients, absorbing their experience and opinions has been very important for me. Comparing and analyzing these situations has given me greater awareness and practical skills that are essential in the field I'm investing in.

In my internship at the Loccioni company, I developed and optimizated a magnetic thrust electric axis for automatic manipulation. This project has been the subject for my bachelor's degree thesis.The aim of this work was to achieve excellent dynamic performance by evaluating and selecting the best material for the application, without neglecting the cost-benefit ratio.The mechanics are designed to handle the strong inertial forces from sudden deceleration during a crash with a similar axis when control is lost.The topological optimization techniques have been used to evaluate components for 3D metal printing.The final results led to a new design compared to the previous one, with significant improvements in the mechanism's behavior during impact. These results were verified both under static conditions and fatigue for the required number of work cycles.

It was my first experience in the working world, which allowed me to discover and understand what truly interests me. This crucial step enabled me to continue my technical studies in the following years.
