An experienced business development, online and traditional marketing strategist, Web-based software (SaaS) product manager, business analyst and serial entrepreneur. Al was the Founder of Matrix Intermedia Corp, SourceOne Network, Alarius Systems and is Chief Consultant for CoreElement, LLC a boutique consultancy located in upstate New York's Capital Region.During his long-term involvement with online media, the Web and Digital Marketing, Al has worked with General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Vice President Al Gore’s Reinventing Government Project (REGO), CBS Radio, the State University of New York and various Regional Hospitals and Healthcare Systems, managing Web development and online marketing projects. From 1997 to 2007 he worked with the University at Albany’s Center for Advanced Thin Film Technology, which became the College for Nanoscale Science & Engineering (CNSE). Al managed successful Internet initiatives and developed software applications for CNSE which is now a multi-billion dollar University, Government and Business mega-research center know as SUNY Polytechnic. At GE Fanuc, Al was a Software Product Manager for the CIMPLICITY Systems division where he managed all Web development, systems integration and online and electronic media marketing programs for this joint venture between GE and FANUC of Japan. After graduating from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR), Al started as a Business Analyst with Dun & Bradstreet and later became the Director of Marketing for High Technology Systems (HTS) a local specialty materials start-up that commercialized NASA’s LARC-13 materials technology for industrial, electronics and aerospace applications.
