This was my inaugural employment experience, serving as a foundational element in my research endeavors within an educational company named iLAfin. I was tasked with investigating which institutes and universities required information on alternative investments. Utilizing Excel, I created various charts and successfully expanded the higher education research division from zero to 53 institutions. Subsequently, other departments were able to establish significant partnerships, such as with Kaplan (https://portal.kaplanfinancial.com/partner/iLAfin/portal/welcome)—one of the leading global educational firms. During this internship, we also assessed the critical need for alternative investments in the education sector, particularly for the affluent demographics, and forecasted substantial growth in this investment area due to recent adjustments in capital markets and the evolving landscape of interest rates.
