As a staff for WinShape Camps, I am part of a traveling team that creates an extraordinary day camp experience for kindergarten-5th graders in a different location each week. My duties include setting up the big rec game that the whole camp plays each day, leading a small group of campers in a team time meeting twice a day, and coaching the yard games skill. My team and I ensure that campers are having fun while also learning about Jesus. From this job, I have learned to work well with others and with equipment, as well as lead a thoughtful and fruitful meeting where we can learn about God. Additionally, I was once a camper at WinShape Camps, and was strongly influenced by my team time leaders. I remember thinking how I wanted to work for WinShape some day, and now I am! This experience represents a full circle in my life as I am now working at a camp I once attended!

I was a make-line worker for Little Italy's Pizzeria, which means that I prepared the foods customers ordered. I also helped with the other restaurant duties, such as washing dishes, folding boxes, and cleaning the kitchen/dining room. I also gained experience in dealing with challenging customers, as Little Italy's was a place where drunk people would hang out.

As a success networking team coordinator, I am responsible for leading breakout meetings and checking up on future inductees of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). One of my duties is discussing future inductees goals and how they plan on achieving their goals, as well as give suggestions if needed. This has taught me a lot about goal setting, one of the fundamentals learned in the process towards induction into the NSLS, as well as the qualities of a good leader.
