I am a current junior at Auburn University seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Italian Studies. I am very passionate about helping others and staying dedicated to what I do, even when I encounter difficulties. For instance, I was in the Boy Scouts of America and achieved Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in Scouting. That is something I am very proud of. While at Auburn, I was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), which is a high academic honor. Also, I am knowledgable of leadership and what it means. That comes mostly from my experience in Boy Scouts and my induction into the NSLS. As for my skills, I am proficient enough in Spanish and Italian to have a conversation. I am also a great public speaker and presenter, which my public speaking class gave me experience with. Additionally, I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. For my future goals, I plan to go to graduate school to study clinical psychology and become a licensed therapist. I believe my accomplishments and hard-work ethic are great foundational skills for graduate school. While this goal may seem overwhelming at first, I know a great way to tackle it. I will use the SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely) acronym to break down my big goals into smaller, more simpler goals, while at the same time coming up with deadlines for when I want each smaller goal to be done. I am a very hard worker, enthusiast, and am always seeking what's next.
