About Alex Booth
- BSc Honours in Sport & Exercise Science- FA level 1 & 2 Football Coaching (Europe)- NSCAA Advanced National Diploma (USA)- NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma (USA)- USSF D License (USA)Since my school years I have been interested in sport and soccer in particular, after playing for a number of years; coaching and teaching were my natural progression, I have volunteered at schools and for organisations around the area I grew up. To broaden my knowledge I shadowed the sport and leisure industry, helping in gyms and leisure centres and learning about personal training and strength and conditioning exercise. After studying my degree in sport I was tempted by the exponential growth of soccer in the USA and have spent the last 8 years coaching various ages and abilities of boys and girls from the east coast to the west. Physical education is a personal desire and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with youngsters and adults by coaching. My work and degree has given me confidence in groups and amongst strangers or peers, interacting with children and improving their development is something I enjoy and feel rewarded by. I created my company to cover all areas of soccer development; understanding the roles and responsibilities of positions, improving technical ability on the ball, application of techniques in games, tactical understanding, physical improvements in strength and conditioning, speed and agility, the correct mind set and mental attitude to soccer. Coaching soccer is my passion, my education helps to provide a service over more than just technical improvements. Improving the understanding of the tactical side of the game and developing speed and agility, strength and conditioning, improving the holistic game of players.
